Yes. He writes and arranges original songs. On Tainted Tapes, he performed every vocal and instrumental part. Colin Schlegel mixed and mastered the album.
How does Holden start writing a song?
Sometimes something happens in the middle of an ordinary day and gives him an idea. Other times, lyrics, a melody, or a guitar riff come first. He builds on whichever part comes to him and keeps going if it works.
Does Holden prefer acoustic or electric guitar?
Holden says he plays acoustic at shows, but spends more time playing electric guitar. He started on electric and likes experimenting with pedals and effects.
